Unlike the Model S or Model X, the Model 3 has almost all of it’s controls on the screen. After all it wouldn’t be a Tesla with out it’s iconic touch screen console.
The controls for the heated windshields, heated seats and climate are all permanently displayed at the foot of the screen. When driving, your speed is permanently displayed in the top-left corner, putting it as close as possible to the driver’s line-of-sight.
You will soon begin to appreciate the company of a passenger when you want to adjust your mirrors or turn the wipers on while you drive 120KM/H. It might be challenging at first to navigate through the center console while keeping your eyes on the road.
Amazon is already selling screen protectors for your 15″ touch screen. It’s a great idea considering how much you’ll need to use it on a daily basis.
For those who are considering getting the Model 3 might need to hold back on going with the fully loaded option.
Clean energy vehicle for British Columbia offers up to $5,000 incentive for purchasing full electric or hybrid vehicles. However vehicles costing more than $77,000 are not eligible for this program.

Combining the the two incentives can potentially reduce the purchase price by $11,000!

We’ve definitely started citing a few Model 3s in Canada within the past 2 weeks.
After the end of second quarter, Tesla has opened up the flood gates to allow all US and Canada reservations to customize their Model 3. Unfortunately the basic $35,000 (~$43,517 CAD) model won’t be available until end of this year/early next year. There will also be an AWD option that will be available next year!
